We bought this beautiful set to be put in our breakfast area. It was barely used for two weeeks before we bought a formal dining set with 8 chairs and ended up using that all the time (as it was next to the living room with the TV). A great bargain! The chairs are stain resistant and still show plastic covering on them. No stains or wear and tear. It be difficult to say it was used at all.
